Year 11 Studio Arts

As part of their Street Art unit, some Year 11 Studio Arts students collaborated on a mural called the Wing Project. The mural was inspired by L.A. based artist Colette Miller and her Global Angel Wing Project. The students cut multiple feather stencils in 3 different sizes and applied them with spray paint, layering them up to form colourful wings which can symbolize flight, imagination and freedom. Mrs. Fee and the Yr 11 S.A. class invite you and your friends to come along to the courtyard near the main staffroom and interact with the wings. Use your phone or camera to take some photos of your winged selves.

Instrumental Music Concert

On November 19th, we had over 50 students performing in the annual Instrumental Music Concert. This concert is a celebration of what students have been learning in their instrumental music lessons. This ranges from singing, bands, keyboard ensemble and more!

Students performed for River Gum Primary School students, the Year 7 students and finishing it off with the night performance. We are so proud of all our students at Hampton Park SC, especially our Year 7 students being their first time participating this year,

We would love more students to join in our Instrumental Program for 2019. If you are interested, please see Mrs Kalatzis or the Front Office for an information form.
