EMAIL TO BE USED FOR changing permanent bookings, making advanced bookings or cancellations  (such as for holiday program, school closure days), account queries, addressing special needs, incidents that need clarification, and the like.

Emails are not checked prior to a session as administrative duties are addressed off site and away from the service, as our priority is the active supervision of children, their development and wellbeing.

 

However, if children ever find themselves confused, not knowing where they're supposed to be, please have a 'back up plan' by stating they can always go to after care and together we can resolve their situation. This is an important aspect of children’s 'belonging, being and becoming' which involves learning independence and coping skills. OSHC is  available to provide a secure base as needed.

Sunsmart

Term 4 is upon us and I remind families that all students should be wearing their sun smart  hat when playing outside. Parents must provide a spare hat for OSHC should their school hat be unavailable. We also encourage students to BYO sunscreen and to stay hydrated by providing a water bottle.

Administrative changes for OSHC

In an effort to allow parents to pay their OSHC fees in smaller, easy to manage payments, St Finbar’s OSHC will introduce 'Debit Success'.  It will offer parents an opportunity to nominate an account and appropriate day of payment. The service will pay certain fees and charges which is  fair and equitable and in line with our current practices.  Please note that the dishonour fee relates to insufficient funds.   Please see table below.

A direct debit request form is also now available on the St Finbar’s school website under the 'Community', 'OSHC' tabs. This form will need to be completed and received by the end of term (18/12/2019) in order for families to use the service in 2020.

Holiday program

1.  Please read all the information in the holiday program flyer.

2.  Please choose carefully as the cost of any excursions/incursions will only be reversed if cancellation is received prior to 1st January 2020.  The cost of the day will not be charged.

3.  The St Finbar’s OSHC Booking Form (CWA) must be signed and received by 18/12/2019 for OSHC bookings to be valid in 2020.

4.  The Direct Debit Request Authorisation Form must be signed and received by 18/12/2019 for OSHC bookings to be valid in 2020.

OSHC Jan/Dec Holiday Program

Accounts due

Thank you for your support.  Accounts are now out and due in 7 days. They cover weeks 3 and 4 and part of week 5.  Anything prior to that is overdue and must be paid immediately.  If CCS has not been applied, either confirm your status with myGov or contact Centrelink, as only they can backdate a claim.

The Direct Debit Form must be signed and ALL accounts settled by the end of Term 4, as current administrative processes will cease.
