As the year comes to a close, we look back on the year that has past.
Fun Run
Our most recent event was the Fun Run that was held on Sunday 25 November. We had more than 200 people participate on the day. We were lucky enough for the weather to hold out for us. To everyone who participated and raised funds for the Dunhelen outdoor table, thank you. We are still waiting for the total amount raised, but will let you all know early in the new year. A huge thank you to everyone who put their hand up to volunteer for this event. We could not do it without you all.
Fairview Dance Party
The students from Fairview partied the night away on Friday 16 November at the Fairview Dance Party. We hope they all had a great time. The glow sticks and chips were definitely a huge hit with the kids. Again thank you to all of the parents who volunteered their time for this event.
Thank You P&F Committee
I am very grateful for all of the support I received from the committee this year. We have had a really successful year, from the Mothers Day and Fathers Day breakfasts and stalls, the Hot Cross Bun and the Towel and Apron drives. The countless canteens we have held for performances in the Chapel and Performing Arts Centre and our first ever Movie Night. These events have allowed us to raise funds for the “buddy seats” in both the Cumberland and Fairview playgrounds. New BBQ’s near the Food Technology building, which will be used for the breakfasts we hold going forward. As well as the outdoor table tennis tables for Dunhelen which will be completed over the Christmas break.
2019 Movie Night Date
We are pleased to announce that we will continue with the Movie Night next year and cannot wait to announce which movie we will be showing. Please save the date in your diary, Friday 15 March 2019; more details to follow.
Christmas Wishes
I would like to wish everyone a safe and blessed Christmas and New Year. I look forward to another fun filled year in 2019.
