From the Assistant Principal...

Thank you

Thank you to the Brown, Scott-Hamilton, Toakley and Cowley families who came along and helped to set up and pack up Morning Tea at Family Mass on Sunday. It was so lovely to have extra hands to help - much appreciated!

Canteen money

We have had some reports of children bringing large notes ($50 and $20) to the Canteen to spend on icey poles etc. I am concerned that parents may not be aware that their children have such large amounts of money in their bags.  Also, the canteen struggles to provide change for these bills. Could you please check with your children and make sure they bring more manageable amounts to school, we would hate to see this money get lost or go missing.

Uniform and Behaviour

As we move into the last term of the year, it is important that we continue to expect good behaviour and maintain our uniform standards. Please remind your child to pack their school hat, as the weather is becoming warmer and students will not be allowed to play without their hats. The second hand uniform shop is open on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-3:10pm if you need to purchase anything and there are many items of very good quality available.

World Teacher Day

World Teachers' Day is being celebrated in Australia on Friday 25 October. The day is a great opportunity for everyone to recognise and appreciate teachers and the important role they play in shaping the next generation.  Congratulations to all our teachers on the great work they do!

Transition

Transition begins this week, welcome to our Kindy class for 2020!
