Welcome to Term 4

Maths

We have started our new unit investigating 3D objects by identifying the number of vertices, edges and faces that different objects have and using nets to construct a variety of objects.

English

We have begun our unit on Storm Boy by learning about the setting which is the Coorong in South Australia. We are gathering information and facts on the Coorong that we will use to write an information report on the area.

Science

This Friday we will begin our new Science unit by finding out where the ingredients for our dinners come from.

Operetta

Everyone in Year 6 has received their role and script for the operetta which we will perform in Week 8. It has been great to hear students were practising in the holidays and it showed in our first rehearsal on Monday.
