Classroom News - Year 3

TERM 4!!!

Welcome back to Term 4! Wow how this year is flying. We have a very busy term ahead of us with lots of things planned for the term.

We still have lots of fun learning and activities in all subject areas this term.

Religion - Relationships: Sharing God’s love &  Advent to Christmas: A Time for Responding in Love

English - We are covering Poetry and enjoying learning about the different types of Poetry and the features of Poetry. We are still continuing our Big Write and Talk Homework and we expect all students to be reading every night. Please feel free to send in for students to share and enjoy any poetry books you may have a home.

Maths - Topics we are covering this term are Addition  & Subtraction; Data; Chance,  3D Space, Volume and Mass. A reminder that there are lots of set activities on Studyladder for the students to work on at home.

Geography - We are learning about Australia's Neighbours and learning about their cultures and countries.

Science-  Digital Technologies - Digitech Detectives

Visual Art- Forms, Fibre, Places and Spaces

Students are busy working on their final Visual Art piece which is due in week 4. 

PDHPE - Year 3 will be swimming later in the term and in Health learning about being  'Happy, Healthy and Safe'
