School Photos
Tuesday 6th March
Students are to return their photo envelopes
with payment enclosed to the photographer on the day.
If you require family photos, envelopes are available form the general office.
Coles Vouchers
McGuire College is collecting the Schools for Sport vouchers from Coles.
Help us raise funds for our school sport teams for uniforms and training equipment.
There are collection boxes at the school General Office and at Riverside Plaza Coles.
After School Programs
Humanities Help
Every Monday afterschool 3.15 to 4.15 pm in C5. Help is available for all Humanities, WES and VCE Humanities subjects.
English Help
English help will be available every Tuesday after school from 3.20 – 4.15 pm in B14. Please bring along homework and activities that you need assistance with.
Maths help
Every Tuesday in C5. All year levels are encouraged to attend. Perfect for getting on top of Homework or getting extra assistance for what you have learnt in class. Don’t be a square, come to Maths help.
Sexual Health Nurse @ McGuire College
For the last three years McGuire College has been lucky enough to have the visiting services of Sexual Health Nurse Suzanne Wallis. Suzanne is is a Rural Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner at Goulburn Valley Health, who visits our school 3 times per term. As a Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner, Suzanne is able to provide consultation and advice on all things sexual health to the students of our school. Throughout Suzanne’s time at McGuire College she has dealt with a range of issues from pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted Infection testing, education and contraception. Suzanne has also been involved in our Year 9 Sexual Health education Program ‘Taking Care of Me’ for a number of years. Suzanne’s visits to the school are advertised in our student bulletin and students can self-refer or make an appointment with her through the well being team.
