Year 4 Camp

Year 4 camp- In the Eyes of the Students

“Mum, Dad hurry up we are going tho be late” I say “Have you got your lunch” she says “Yes of course” I yell.

As we get to the train station I see all my friends waiting for me. We figure out who’s sitting next to who on the train. The train was AWESOME you could see a lot of scenery.

After a long ride on the train we finally get off and go the space hotel, and then to the Melbourne Museum. At the Melbourne Museum we saw a lot of cool stuff. We had a lot of fun, here’s a list of what we did for the rest of the camp. We when to the Aquarium, Eureka Skydeck, Grill’d, Queen Vic markets, Science works, Shrine, MCG, Artvo and lots more. Everyone was so tired by the time we finished. 

At the Aquarium we saw a lot of different types of fish and sea life. Some people bought souvenirs, but after the aquarium everyone had butterflies in their stomach, because it was time for the EUREKA Skydeck. Everyone did it except for a couple of people which was ok. Some people even lay face down on the glass. 

After a long day travelling we went to Grill’d for dinner and had an ice-cream. Then we went back to the Space Hotel. Some people walked some people caught the tram. 

The next day we went to Science Works and we watched the coolest lightning show. After Science Works we went to the Shrine of Remembrance, we even had a minute silence. After that was AWESOME, we went to the MCG we learnt awesome facts like when it was built and what it looked like when it was built. We also had a great tour!

That night we went to the Emporium for dinner, most of the people had either burgers or pizza. After dinner we got ice cream and watched a song sung by Ruby Newman and Alisha Moon. After that we went back to the hotel and had showers and went to bed. We all fell to sleep straight away.

On the last day of camp we went to the Queen Vic Markets, we saw fresh food and a lot  of souvenir shops, we were so lucky we even got hot jam donuts.

After the amazing Queen Vic Market we got our lunch from Subway and headed off to ACMI and saw cool old movies, video games and modern day video games.

After ACMI we went to Artvo which is 2D pictures, but when you are in them they look 3D. After a long day we had lunch and walked to the bus station and boarded the double decker bus to the Echuca train station. Nearly everyone slept on the bus. Everyone had a great time. 

Thank you to all the teachers that looked after us. We had such a great time!
