VCAA GAT examination – 1 hour prior to exam starting time. Students are to assemble at JMSS. They will be escorted to the VCAA examination rooms at the Monash Campus Centre.
Students and parents need to be aware that different public transport timetables operate during the day. This needs to be considered in planning travel and school arrival time. Also students and parents need to allow time for possible disruptions on public transport or traffic congestion.
Exams are an important part of formal assessment at JMSS and students are expected to attend all their scheduled exams. If your son or daughter is unable to attend an examination due to illness, you need to notify JMSS’s Attendance Officer on the morning of the examination on 9902 9712 or email Absences@jmss.vic.edu.au. The student will require a Medical Certificate to be presented to verify the illness, for the examination to be rescheduled.
Semester Two will begin on Tuesday June 14th immediately following the exam period. There will be two weeks of classes before the holiday break begins on Saturday 25th June.
