Year 7 Camp

PGL Adventure Camp Kyneton
Thirty–four excited year 7 students boarded the bus to PGL Adventure Camp on Monday 26th to Wednesday 28th March. With a forecast of warm weather, we were set for a fun time of activities, which included: Flying Fox, Abseiling, Canoeing, Archery, Raft Building, Team Challenge, Around the World, Giant Swing and Aeroball.
For some, the activities proved daunting but together, as a team, students were able to face their fears, forge new friendships and experience the skill of flexibility, as they had to move sleeping quarters three times!
They all became competent at cleaning up their table areas after their meals, scraping their plates and placing their utensils to be washed in the appropriate buckets. They took turns to wipe down their tables and ensured that the areas were left clean and tidy. They were certainly a credit to Shepparton High School. For some, it was their first camp away, while others had participated previously, but for all the fun they shared together this will be instilled in their memory forever.
The photos show the wonderful time and adventures had by all.
