VCCA Exams

VCE AWARDS ASSEMBLY

During the last week of Term 2, all Year 11 and 12 students attended a VCE Awards Assembly to celebrate the large number of students who have achieved Academic Merit and Academic Excellence in Semester 1.

Students who were involved in the Peer Support Program, as well as students who have earned ‘points’ for involvement in extra-curricular activities were also recognised. 

We would like to congratulate all our VCE students who received awards for their efforts in Semester 1.

2016 VCE COURSE SELECTION

Students will soon begin the important process of selecting subjects for 2016.  They are provided with course counselling in a number of ways, including:

Course briefings

A double period session with VCE Coordinators and Careers Coordinators to provide background information on selecting subjects for 2016.

VCE Information Evening 

An opportunity for parents and students to speak with VCE teachers and view subject displays.

MIPS Interview Day 

Individual appointments to discuss subject selection.

Ongoing access to Careers and MIPS Counsellors through appointments at school.

After receiving information throughout this period, students will be asked to select their 2016 subjects online.

VCE EXAMS

Students completing Units 1/2 will sit internal exams.  Students completing Units 3/4 (including Year 11 students) will sit external VCAA exams.

External VCAA exams can’t be rescheduled. 

End of Year VCAA exams run from October 28 to November 18.  Please refer to the VCAA website for exam timetables (www.vcaa.vic.edu.au).
