HAPPY FATHER'S DAY PRAYER

God our Father, we pray for all fathers who share their life, energy and resources in caring for their family.

Let us express our appreciation every day through simple tasks: saying ‘thank you’, helping with the chores, offering a cuppa when there is time for a chat and a joke.

Give us the wisdom to share our stories, joys and anxieties with our Dad.

Let us continue to include him in our daily lives regardless of how busy we may be.

We make our prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Amen

REBEL COMMUNITY KICKBACKS

Along with supporting St Joseph's College and the Tiwi College Partnership Program, Rebel Sport also offers the St Joseph's College community a chance to support the Health and PE Department.

You might have recently seen Mr Fleming in the community newsletter with a variety of sporting goods purchased from Rebel. These items were actually paid for with the funds earned through the Rebel Community Kickbacks initiative.

If you aren’t aware Rebel Sport members can nominate a community club or organisation to link with their membership. If you choose to link to St Joseph’s College to your membership - 5% of any purchase is added to the St Joseph's College  Health and PE Department Kickback account.

Thanks to the College community as this year we’ve been able to purchase new sports equipment available for students to borrow at lunchtime (Coles Sport for Schools) and now, a range of new equipment to assist with the Pedal Prix program (Rebel Community Kickbacks).

We encourage all students to attend with a positive attitude and to expect the unexpected. A memorable, fun night of dancing is guaranteed!

The College Ball is a formal style dance; as such, certain standards of dress and behaviour are expected. This is an alcohol and drug free event, any students suspected of being under the influence will be set aside and parents will be contacted as required.
