Year 12 Engagement Day
Friday 15th March, saw an early start for the ‘Class of 2019”. After a satisfying breakfast, they had the opportunity to listen to Glenn Irvine. Glenn worked through some of the issues that face the students this year. He led them through some self- reflection on what are their ‘Performance Blockers’ and encouraged them to think in the present tense. Exactly how it looks, sounds and feeling having achieved the goals that I am at school for. He worked through planning their time and strategies for success, and what procrastination looks like for them, and how they could address that.
Glenn then worked with some of the students who are interested in getting into the workforce. He talked about what employers are looking for and how students can put themselves ‘out there’. Other students listened to a session run by Miss White that addressed the six strategies
for effective learning. Students worked through the Senior School Handbook to ensure they are aware of the processes and protocols required to comply with the VCAA administration.
After a healthy lunch, students had time to relax……….. from being talked to, they engaged in some quite competitive team building activities.
Year 12 MIPS Interviews
All students in Year 12 will have their Managed Individual Pathways interview on either Tuesday 26th or Wednesday 27th March. Students should have received their interview time on Friday 22nd March. They are to bring their completed CAPS (Career Action Plans) to the interview.
MSC Debutante Ball 2019 Update.

Students will be bused over at 3.25 pm for their three hour sessions. ‘Special Guests’ that are partnering one of the Debutantes for a dance are needed to be at the GV Hotel at 6.20 pm on Thursday 28th March for a rehearsal.
