Principal's Report

Two weeks to go, hasn’t the term flown. The first of the three SAC’s for the term are now complete, and work on the second, has already begun. School is certainly in full swing. Parent/Teacher interviews are being held on Wednesday the 3rd April (after school) and Friday the 5th of April (during the school day). I encourage you to attend with your son/daughter to gain feedback on their progress. There are no classes scheduled on Friday the 5th of April. Times are indicated elsewhere in this Newsletter.

Shepparton Education Plan

All of the staff of the four schools are involved in a Professional Development Activity on Thursday the 4th of April. The focus of the day is Trauma Informed Practice, and is being delivered by the Berry Street organisation. We will be closed, and it will be a student free day.

The interim name for the new school is Greater Shepparton College and the process to officially name the school has begun. This will take approximately six months.

An advisory Council has been formed, consisting of  the school council president, a staff representative and a student representative from each of the schools. A uniform committee has also been established, and consists of a student representative and a school council representative from each of the schools. Inaugural meetings for both bodies are already set.

College Council

There are still vacancies for the current council (one year term only). If you would like to be involved, particularly as we move to the new school , please contact me at school as soon as possible.
