Message from Principal Sally

Greeting to you all for the second last Errol Street News for 2019.

Staff Updates

As the 2019 school year concludes I thank and acknowledge the work of staff not returning to NMPS in 2020.

Viv Amiel: Year 2 2019

Viv returned to work following her family leave in 2001. Viv has taught hundreds of NMPS children and is currently enjoying Long Service Leave. She will return to work to assist with our 2020 Prep transition. Viv has always championed targeted education at the point of need for her students; she seeks to engage her students and fosters curiosity and creativity.

Nicky Weaver: Year 3 2019

Nicky has worked in our school for many years and was employed as a first-year graduate. Nicky is known for her kindness, care and ability to listen. Many teenagers at University High will thank Nicky for her successful induction into the world of education as preps.

Bella Clemmens: Year 2 2019

Bella started work with us in 2018 and has contributed actively to her teams and has also demonstrated an ability to connect with families and engage her students.

Matt Schouteten: Year 1 2019

Matt has actively contributed to the NMPS community through his work on School Council and as the team leader of the year 1 cohort.

Maggie al Naouri: Year 5 2019

Maggie has only worked with us this year but has demonstrated professional responsiveness to parent requests. She has been an active contributor to the year 5 PLT.

Sophie White

Sophie White has been on leave this year and aims to continue teaching in Cambodia.

Sam Hanna: SAKGP Kitchen coordinator 2019

Sam has helped students connect food from the garden to the plate. Her passion for fresh produce and global cuisine has enabled the production of meals from all around the world representing our culturally diverse school community.

Sue Neill:  Auslan interpreter Prep 2019

Sue assisted our school with the introduction of Auslan to our school and is a highly regarded interpreter. We hope Sue will stay with us as a temporary Auslan interpreter as she assists us in making connections within our community.
