Year 6 Graduation Night

Hello Grade 6 Parents & Guardians,

The last day of primary school (!) and graduation day is fast approaching and there are couple of things we’d love your help with to make it an amazing night for the year 6 graduates.

Some logistics:

• A reminder that the night is for year 6 graduates and parents/guardians only (no siblings) and it’s BYO food (grazing platters/picnic boxes etc) and BYO drinks for the parents/guardians.
• Glassware, cutlery and plates for parents/guardians are being provided and there’ll be a couple of ice tubs provided too if required.
• The graduates will have pizza, hot chips and soft drinks/water organised for them as well as graduation cupcakes for dessert.
• There’ll be no “set seating” for parents/guardians. We will set up 5 of the large round tables around the ‘graduation table’ and parents/guardians can sit where they like.
• The night should finish around 9:30pm after the DJ and lots of dancing and celebrating. See bottom of email for approximate timings. Invitation also attached.

Please also ensure that parents/guardians have their vaccine certificate ready and QR code check into the hall on arrival. Start time of graduation is 6pm sharp so please arrive 15 min early to set yourselves up.

A very big thank you to John and Karen Hall who have arranged a special surprise for our children and the school who will cover the costs of the DJ, graduation teddy bear, cupcakes and pizzas for the graduates on the night.

Help on the night:

We’d love and appreciate some help setting up the hall for the graduation on Tuesday 14th December immediately after school ends as well as cleaning up the next morning on Wednesday 15th December at 8:30am before school starts.
