Primary Music Celebration 2021

On Thursday 11 November, the Primary Music Celebration assembly will be held to celebrate the 2021 musical year and acknowledge the dedication and commitment of our Primary students. An Assembly will commence in the Assembly Hall at 2:00 pm with performances from the Piccolo Choir, Campo della Voci, the Primary String Orchestra, the Junior String Quartet and the Primary Concert Band, followed by certificate and badge presentations to eligible students.

 

At 3:00 pm, our music students will be treated to afternoon tea and some fun on various jumping castles. Students are encouraged to change into comfortable clothes. The afternoon concludes at 4:00 pm.

 

Parents will be required to book through Humanatix for this event as per the details outlined on the flyer. Visitors will be required to check-in via the app and wear a mask.

 

 One parent per family may attend the presentation and performance.

 

Parents who cannot attend will need to collect their child/ren promptly at 4:00 pm from the Clayfield College Oval.

LUX

Join us at the Clayfield College Prep to Year 12 LUX Exhibition. Our students will showcase their work in the areas of Music, Art, Drama and Languages.

Curated by the Creative Arts and Languages Department, with Guest Speaker Bernadette Malouf, with Awards presented by Bernadette, Paul Yarrow and Clayfield P&F.

 

Light refreshments (Spanish and Japanese food) will be available on opening night. The exhibition will be open to family, friends and the wider community.

Secondary Speech Night

Our Clayfield College musicians have been working hard in preparation for our Secondary Speech night. On Friday 12 November all musicians will be involved in a rehearsal day at the College. Please see the following schedule for rehearsal times. Students are expected to go to class if they are not rehearsing.

Tuesday 16 November - QPAC

 

Speech Night rehearsals for musicians commence at 12:00 pm at QPAC on Tuesday 16 November. Students will be transported to the venue by bus from the College. Please ensure your child brings ample food for the day including, lunch and afternoon tea. Every student should also bring a water bottle.

Please ensure that this is completed, as it is important that the students have a substantial meal before the event. Alternatively, your child may wish to bring their own dinner.
