The annual Sports Award Dinner will be held on Wednesday 17 November, at Ruggers, 103 Crosby Rd, Albion, in the Jacaranda Room.

The event is a capped capacity event; therefore, one parent/family member per family can book to attend to ensure all award recipients are there on the night.

Once all awardees have booked, the remaining tickets will be open for others to attend. The timing for the event is from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm and will include pre-dinner drinks.

The format of the night is as follows:

Please be advised that parents/caregivers of students receiving an award will be notified by email inviting you to attend. We are truly sorry the event cannot be opened to all who wish to attend and would request that all those who have received an email that tickets are booked before Monday 8 November.

All remaining seats, if any, will be on offer via an email to all after Monday and will be awarded on a first-in basis.

Sports Camps in 2022

The sports department has decided to run 2 sports camps in 2022 instead of the Bootcamps that existed this year. The camps will occur for all Semester 1 in-season sports and in June for all Semester 2 in-season sports.

The first camp will be held from Monday 17 January to Wednesday 19 January 2022, the week before school commences. Further details on the January camp will be announced in Week 6.

All students who have signed up for any Semester 1 in-season sport are invited to attend the camp. Please see the draft itinerary below to give girls an idea of what the camp will look like.

The camps will focus on skill and game development, body maintenance principles, and team cohesion and connection. We hope these camps are well-received as they are a key element in strengthening the success, unity, and team spirit Clayfield teams are renowned for.

Volleyball Academy

The Clayfield Volleyball Academy continues every Monday from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm in the PE Centre. Please see Ms. Barnes if you are keen to join in 2022 and to collect the paperwork. Any girls who choose to leave the program MUST send an email to confirm this, or payments will still be added to your College fees.

It is wonderful to share student achievements with you, so if your daughter has achieved a significant result in her sport, please send an email labelled “Student Achievements” to Ms. Christine Barnes so we can share and celebrate this achievement with the wider community.
