Principal Report

(She looks so HAPPY - The Grinch)

Dear Rolling Hills Primary School,

We made it! 2021 has been a hugely challenging year. We have embraced learning at many different levels; in the classroom, in the playground, at home, in the community, and via online forums. Our year was again impacted by COVID-19. But again, the real sense of community that we are fortunate to have here at RHPS has sustained us all throughout this year.

Please join me in thanking our leaders, teachers and wonderful ES staff for their wonderful work throughout the year, particularly in the remote and flexible learning periods.   I’m sure you would agree, your children have been in great hands!

I would also like to thank you as parents/carers, your parents, aunties and uncles and family friends who have all had to step in at some point and help us all get through this year. Your extended help and support to keep learning happening is appreciated by all.

Lastly, I would like to thank the students for their perseverance, ability to adapt and their resilience to keep turning up to school to learn despite the World's best efforts to disrupt them. Well done!

The school will be very quiet this summer while we all take a much needed rest. Please help us to keep the school safe and secure. Feel free to email craig.bradley@education.vic.gov.au if you spot any issues or post on Facebook and we will pick up the message.

Farewells for some of our staff are top of our mind today. Our school is only as successful as the quality of our staff, and we are sad to see them go but excited about their new adventures.  Please see our outgoing list below.  We are grateful for their contribution to Rolling Hills.  Students, parents, and staff alike have benefited from their knowledge, support, and commitment to our students.
