Instrumental Music

The Music Department has been so happy to welcome back Instrumental lessons on campus. Lessons have been spread between The Joseph Centre and Café Naz to accommodate for VCE Exams taking place in the Wheeler Auditorium. It brings us all great pleasure to share the joy of live music once again at the College. We wish the Instrumental students preparing for their AMEB Music Exams in Term 4 all the best and look forward to the next opportunity for live performances at school. Instrumental lessons for 2021 will conclude on Friday 19 Nov. Students and families will be given an application form for lessons in 2022.  A copy of the form is below.

College Production 

Nazareth College presents GREASE. Take 3… Action! 

The 2021 Nazareth College Production of Grease is scheduled to perform again on Thursday 9 December 2021. A huge thank-you to all students, staff, families and to the Nazareth community who has supported the Performing Arts department during this challenging production year. 

Tickets will be available soon for the one night only performance. 

Virtual Christmas Carols 

On Thursday 2 December, the inaugural Nazarene Christmas Carols virtual event will air on the College website.  The live-streamed event will be hosted by Year 10 representatives of Mini-Vinnies and 10 pre-recorded musical items and performances of Christmas Carols will be featured.  

Everyone from the Nazareth Community is welcome to submit a Christmas video performance to be included. Video submissions from any staff, students, alumni, families and friends of the Nazareth community should be submitted by 24 November to amanda.mauceri@nazareth.vic.edu.au

We hope submissions will be full of Christmas colours, spirit and fun!
