Visual Art
Year 7 Art students explored the work of the famous sculptor Alberto Giacometti:
Walking Man
Artist: Alberto Giacometti
Year: 1961
Dimensions: 183 cm (72 in)
They took photos of elongated shadows of themselves in action poses to inspire their work. The students then used modelling skills to create a Giacometti style sculpture out of aluminum foil. Using digital editing programs they incorporated their foil action figure into some very imaginative settings.
