Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Guardians, and friends of Nazareth

It has been great to welcome back to campus all the students and staff.  We are so pleased that our students are back and reconnecting with friends and teachers in person. We hope that our students are able to make use of the remaining weeks at school this year to solidify their education for 2021.

I wish all our Year 11 VCE students the best as they commence their exams on Monday 15 November.  Once the exam period is finished the Year 11 cohort will attend their Retreat to prepare for Year 12 2022.

Today is Remembrance Day.  It is a day to reflect on those who lost their lives in battle, in all wars and military conflicts, from World War 1 onwards.  We honour these men and women with a minute's silence at 11.00 am, on the 11th day of the 11th month, which was the time and date when Germany signed the Armistice in 1918, signaling the end of World War 1.

'They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

Lest we forget'.

Let us pray for peaceful endings for all current conflicts in the world.

God Bless.

Mr Sam Cosentino

Principal
