Art Room Acoustic Panels

Recently one of our wonderful parents, Stephen (Amelie’s dad), attached a large number of acoustic panels to the north wall of our Art Room.  These, along with some different panels on the ceiling and other walls, have greatly reduced the noise levels in the Art Room.

The panels Stephen used were generously supplied free of charge by CSR Interior Systems in Yarraville.  So we thank Grant from CSR for the very generous donation to our school.

Will we have a Fete in 2022?

The Fete Committee will be meeting on Thursday 18 November at 3.30pm to discuss the fate of the fete. If you are interested in being involved, please come along. All welcome! We will meet at the bluestone garden beds outside the main building, and move to a Covid-safe space for the meeting.

Love, Lee Street – Our cookbook

The book has now been delivered to the school! The cookbook team will meet and discuss how and when we will start selling the cookbook on site, as well as the distribution of all pre-orders. Further details will be provided. If you are interested in jumping the queue, you can pre-order now via our dedicated website.

This book features recipes from local families AND restaurants including Gerald’s Bar, Henry Sugar, Florian, Babajan and others! It also includes wonderful community photos and illustrations. Thanks to all the wonderful families who contributed to this gorgeous project.

We have 1500 copies to sell! Please do consider this option for all your gifts for friends, family, clients and colleagues this year. The book raises much needed funds for the school after two years of having no school fete. It supports our community restaurants and local businesses too. And $1 from every copy will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

Thanks for your support everyone!
