Sports Update

Interschool Sports results
After 131 long days since our last Interschool Sport event our Year 9’s & 10’s represented the college in Interschool Basketball on Tuesday November 24 at the Frankston Basketball Stadium. EMC had 4 teams across the two year levels go, which was the most of any school that participated on the day.
Our Year 10 Boys were placed in the A Pool, Our Year 9 Boys were placed in the B Pool and due to a lack of numbers our Year 10 and Year 9 Girls team were able to face off against one another in a standalone pool for the girls comp.

While it was just a once off competition it was great seeing our students out and about again representing our College in Interschool Sports and getting some great results once again.

Thursday November 25 was another successful day for Interschool Sports at EMC. today The year 7 & 8's represented the College in Basketball. Our year 8 girls and boys had a great day and both finished 2nd overall, both teams got off to comfortable starts against Carrum Downs and both also just went down to Frankston High in Round 2. Both of our year 7 teams had an awesome day and were both undefeated winning both of their games comfortably against Carrum Downs and Frankston High.
Thank you again to our coaches for giving up your lunch times to pick and coach these teams, Chris Kingston, Nate Tobin, Bella Perry, our new EMC 2022 AFL Trainee, Mackenzie Nicholls and stand in super coach Cooper Burke.
