A Message from the School Council President
School Council update
Wow, how is it Week 3 already!
A massive thanks to all families that helped by donating books or manning the stall at Touch-a-Truck recently! It was an excellent opportunity to raise our profile in the community and we are looking to do more events like this in 2023. We also raised over $250.
As was mentioned in the Principal’s Update, the Strategic Review is underway. My thanks to Christine Pillot, Alec Baroni and the rest of the MPS team for their excellent preparation for this. The Fieldwork day was extremely thorough - it was insightful to be in the classrooms, and hear the observations from the extremely experienced Review Panel. I would really encourage any families who wish to further contribute to the review to attend the parent forum on Monday 24th October from 3-3.30pm.
Look out for updates on Compass about our next working bee (don’t forget the free icypoles!!)
The PA and School Council are aware that many people don’t know who we are (not helped by lockdowns over the last few years) so we thought it was a good idea to introduce ourselves!
