Basketball Slam Competition
Last week our Year 5s and 6s competed in the Primary Basketball Slam competition. The teams grew in their basketball skills and abilities throughout the day. It was a great opportunity for learning outside the classroom whilst building relationships, encouraging one another and working as a team. Huge commendations to the year 9 students that managed and coached the teams!
Year 7s Promote Recycling
The Year 7 Community class has been working on a large public display to promote recycling, in the form of a super-sized crossword puzzle. The words used highlight various approaches to being more environmentally conscious and include Rethink, Reuse, Refuse, Repurpose, Repair, Regift, Repeat, Recycle.
Busselton Show - Art Display
Cornerstone was on display this year in the local schools' exhibit at the local Busselton Show. It was an eye-catching display of the incredible work our Visual Art students have produced.
Primary Inter-School Athletics Carnival
Our Year 4s to 6s participated in the Inter-school Athletics Carnival, held at Hay Park.
We are incredibly proud of this team of students for representing Cornerstone with great character. Each and every one of them did their best, encouraged one another and showed great sportsmanship whilst competing against the other schools.
Go, Cornerstone!
Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box
Pictured is all the Operation Christmas Child Boxes that were filled and handed in by our Primary Cornerstone Christian College families. Operation Christmas Child is an opportunity to give a shoebox filled with goodies to a child that would not usually receive a gift for Christmas. It is also an opportunity to reach out not just with a gift but also with the gospel, that through Operation Christmas Child, they will get a chance to hear!
We pray that the gospel message will reach many hearts, that many hearts will be changed and that many will come to know our amazing God.
Beach Clean-up Day
Year 4/5 Beach Clean Up students collected 17kg of rubbish! Thank you Casey Woodward from Tangaroa Blue, Ben Fearnley, David Bernabe and our parent helpers for taking this fantastic group of students to volunteer their time to clean up our beach!

where they shared their favourite school memories and the Secondary students were able to say their farewells. It was a very special morning!
