Library Update Term 3

I would like to say a BIG THANKYOU  to all who supported the library activities this term.

The reading challenge was great fun and the school read a total of 3110 books over the month of August. 

Many prizes were given out rewarding children for their reading efforts.   A huge congratulations and special mention to the preps who's participation was amazing.   Keep up the great reading!

The Book Fair had a great response with many parents and students purchasing books. 

St Mel's received over $1300 in commission from the sales to purchase new books for our library.    A big thanks to everyone.

If you are doing a spring clean in the holidays please look out for St Mel's library books as there is many overdue and need to be returned. 

We are so lucky to have a fully functional library for students to borrow and enjoy the love of books. 

Remember reading is just like "Dreaming with your eyes open"
