Weekly Vista, Knockout and SACSA Carnivals Update

Endeavour College entered Netball, Mixed Volleyball and four Badminton teams into the Weekly Vista competition for Term 2. The Volleyball team made a promising start defeating Modbury 2 sets to 1. The netballers were faced with a challenging opposition and while they were defeated, they have started to find their stride as a team.

With our success last year in the Year 8/9 Knockout Netball competition we entered a team into the Year 10 Knockout competition. The first round will be played against St Mary’s and Immanuel College in Week 7 of this term. The Open Boys Knockout Soccer team will compete in their first round of Competition to be held in Week 5. The first round will see games played against Endeavour College, Banksia Park and Pedare Christian College.

As the nature of these competitions is knock out, the teams will need to successfully defeat both other competing schools on the day to proceed to the next round. Best of Luck to our Knockout Netballers and Soccer players.

Term 2 SACSA Carnivals are fast approaching with Touch Football being held Cross Country being held in Week 5 at Carisbrooke Reserve and Boys and Girls Netball in Week 6.

Community Sport Results

Currently, Endeavour College has five teams playing as part of the Community Sport program. This program allows students to play in a school team outside of school hours; making strong friendships, learning teamwork and enjoying being involved in physical activity.

A great week of games by all our Community Sport teams. This program would not be possible without our committed coaches, team managers and parents. We would like to thank you all for your commitment and expertise and we look forward to a great season ahead.

Community Sport Basketball

This week saw the first game for our U14 basketball team. Playing against experienced opponents, our College team missed out on a win 63-33. We look forward to many more exciting games to come.

The U16 College team has also had a few changes with many moving to a higher age group and younger students taking their positions. They continue to be a strong side, winning this week’s game against the Modbury Raptors 44-14.
