Plenary Council

In 2020 there will be a Plenary Council held in Australia. A Plenary Council is a formal meeting of bishops and other representatives of the Catholic Church, with the purpose of changing church laws according to what is needed by the greater population at that time. The question they are asking for 2020 is "What do you think God is asking of us in Australia at this time?"

St Mary's parish is inviting everyone to have their say. We are holding an open discussion on Sunday 25 November following the 10:30am Mass. Light refreshments will be provided. If you are unable to attend but would like to have your say, there will also be the opportunity to complete an online or paper survey. We hope to see many of you there. If you have any queries please contact the Parish office on 9484 2907.

2019 Chromebooks

If your child is in year 3 next year or needs to replace their device a portal has been set up through JB Hi-Fi for you to purchase your child’s Chromebook for 2019.

Portal details: https://www.jbeducation.com.au/byod

School Code: SMPS2019

There are three options available:

-Lenovo 100e

-Lenovo 300e touch

-Lenovo 500e touch

It is strongly recommended that you purchase your child’s device through this portal as Chromebooks are difficult to source in stores directly. JB Hi-Fi does not stock these if you were to walk into one of their shops. Many parents in the past who did not purchase the Chromebook through the portal found it very difficult to source, with many students beginning the school year without a device.
