Museums in Motion

Students have investigated people and events that have shaped Australian History! We've learnt about people such as Mathew Flinders, Mary Reibey and Charles Latrobe. We are in the process on creating dioramas based on events that have influenced Australia and how we became a country. Some of these events include The Gold Rush, Crossing the Blue Mountains, Frontier Conflict and The Eureka Rebellion. 

We will be having an Expo for all of the school and famileis in the last week of term. Keep an eye out for this date in our newsletter and 5/6 emails via Xuno.

Writing Day

This Thursday, our 5/6s will taking part in their Writing Day. Students will have the opportunity to create a narrative based on the picture prompt below. Our theme is "Hanging Around". Students will create and publish their story throughout the day with games and activities incorporated. They have been practising creating their ideas, problems and settings, along with other goals we have been learning. More information will be emailed out via Xuno soon.
