Last week, all students should have received their Colour Fun Run sponsorship form.
Students are encouraged to collect sponsorship money to win prizes.
The event will take place on the last day of term, with students running laps of the school oval, whilst be covered in water, colour ... and slim.
Parents are very welcome to come and join in the fun.
It will be an early start, but it should be an amazing day.
Our Year 3 to 6 students have been lucky enough to be invited to the Melbourne Grand Prix...and the best bit...it's completely free.
On the day, students will need to bring their snacks, lunches, water bottle, hats and be dressed in full uniform. They must be at school no later than 6.45am. Unfortunately, we cannot wait for late arrivals. We estimate we will arrive back at school around 5.00pm, however, this will depend on traffic coming out of Melbourne.
Students should not bring spending money.
We will be provided with ear plugs when we get there, however, if students have their own noise cancelling head phone or similar, they are welcome to bring these too.

We would love to see as many new faces on our Parents and Friends as possible.
Parents and Friends are a sub-committee of School Council and work together to raise funds for the school. They coordinate events such as the Colour Fun Run, End-of-term BBQ's, Mother's and Father's Day stalls, Beaufort Show BBQ and any other fundraising that occurs.
All current member and new members are welcome to attend and we are looking for new member and new ideas.
Congratulations to Blue House for taking out the 2023 School House Athletics on Friday. It was a great day, and it was wonderful to see so many families come along to support the students. Walking around during the day, it was amazing to see the great sportsmanship shown by our students and the happy faces as all students tried for their personal best.
Thank you to Miss Feely, the people behind the scenes and those that helped on the day to make this a successful day.
Miss Feely is currently putting together a team of students from Years 3 to 6 who will now represent our school at the Divisional Athletics on Tuesday 28th March.
Information around Parent Teacher interviews will be going out this week. Interviews will need to be booked through XUNO and will be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday straight after school. Each interview will run for strictly 15 minutes, allowing enough time for all parents to meet with their child's teacher. If you believe you need longer, please contact your child's classroom teacher to make an alternative time. These interviews are a chance for parents and teachers to discuss how their child has settled into school and to look at some potential learning goals for the year. Please be aware that teachers will not have completed any formal assessments with students, therefore, will not be providing judgements on where students sit against the curriculum. This will be provided in the Mid-year Reports.
This term we are trialling having our End-of-term BBQ orders completed on XUNO. Parents will complete the order online and then will be required to send the cash in a labelled envelope, with their child, to the office.
By doing this, we will be saving parents and the school transaction fees for such a small amount of money.
This will be a trial, and if it is not successful, we will revert back to the paper version on Term 2.
