NAPLAN

A big thankyou to all those involved in NAPLAN testing. It was great to see how prepared and organised the students were. Thanks also to the staff who diligently administered the tests and to parents for your support.

When will you get your child’s results?

Results will be released to schools and families in July. More information will be released about interpretation of these results closer to this time. NAPLAN results are being reported differently to previous years and it’s important everyone involved understands how to interpret them.

What do we do with NAPLAN data?

Students’ responses to the various NAPLAN tests, in conjunction with other data sources inform several areas of planning. Cohort data is used to analyse the effectiveness of programs (such as literacy and numeracy). Individual class results are used to inform planning at a classroom level. Individual student responses are used to identify students in need of enrichment or inclusion.
