College Captains' Report

We are beyond excited to be a part of our inaugural year as a 7-12 school and, in particular, we are looking forward to working with the leadership team to maintain an environment where students feel they belong and have a voice.

As 2023 College Captains, we value the opinions and individuality of all students and we hope to make a difference during our time here at Beaumaris Secondary College.

This term has flown by, with Year 7 students settling into high-school life and Year 12 students hitting the ground running with study and assessments. We'd like to congratulate all the students undertaking VCE/VET subjects this year; you should all be proud of the motivation and initiative you have shown in your subjects this term.

We have had some exciting events recently, including the House Swimming Carnival. It was great to see everyone representing their House with crazy costumes and bright colours, with Beckett taking out the title this year.

We'd also like to commend the Year 7 and 9 students undertaking NAPLAN this week and make a special mention to all those involved in coordinating.

Finally, our first Twilight Festival was a big success on Friday; all thanks to the Parents' Association and the teachers involved in organising this fun event.

We are looking forward to the year ahead and cannot wait to work with you all to make it the best year ever.
