Two former students, Alex Peroni (SVC 2008-2015) and Josh Burdon (SVC 2005-2008), have both signed new contracts in the world of motor racing.  

Alex will make his sports car racing debut in April in the Le Mans Series in Europe having signed with Algarve Pro Racing’s G-Drive Racing Team. He will make the switch from openwheel racing after a successful three years, two of which he spent competing in the Formula 3 championships where he claimed three podium finishes  followed by a year in the Indy Light Series in the USA.  In addition to racing in the Le Mans Series, Alex has a chance to race in the famed 24-Hour Le Mans in June if his team’s Entry ID is accepted by race organisers.

Andretti Autosport CEO Michael Andretti has announced the team will return to the IMSA Sportscar Championship LMP3 class in 2022 and with eyes for your talent he has signed Australian Josh Burdon.

Andretti has stated that he is looking at moving up to the top-tier class of Sportscar competition globally from 2024 and this is a great opportunity for Josh to show what he is capable of.
