Mission Accomplished  

Congratulations to Jack Riewoldt on his ‘outreach’ to support fellow footballer Ryan Wiggins who suffered a devasting spinal injury during 2021.  Jack and his support group were blessed with ideal conditions on December 19 for the 284 km ride from Devonport to Hobart via the Lake Highway.  A following wind for most of the journey was much appreciated! The above picture shows Jack on the left with Ryan and champion cyclist Richie Porte – at the end of the ride on Parliament House lawns.  

Richie, a former student of St Patrick’s in Launceston, had initially only intended to ride with Jack for part of the way, but decided on the day to do the total ride.  Jack’s target was $100K – the latest figure registered was $102K.  Well done Jack!
