A Gallant Second! 

The 2018 Nutri-Grain Ironman champion Matt Bevilacqua (SVC 2001-08), lost any chance of regaining the title after a poor performance by his lofty standardsin the final round of the six round series.  With a low finish in Race 1 of this round, he did not qualify for Race 2.  Despite this, Matt finished second in the overall award behind multiple champion, Ali Day. 

Matt finished second in Rounds 2, 3 & 4, 3rd in Round 5, and 4th in Round 1.

Matt is a proud and ferocious competitor so his rivals had better look out next season!
