We’re looking at your students' Year 11 results and searching for people with soft skills. All you have to do provide your Year 11 results and answer three questions to show us you have the qualities we’re looking for.  This year there are three rounds that you can apply for.

myfuture is hosting a series of free industry insights webinars with the Australian Business & Community Network (ABCN) to support teachers delivering career education to students.

 

The final webinar of the series will focus on the construction industry. The construction industry includes residential and non-residential building, civil engineering and building structure services.

New Course: Bachelor of Data Science

Bringing a new course to life is a science of its own! At VU, we’re using the latest in big data platforms technology to gain insight into future jobs growth, tailoring our courses to predicted employment and skill demand. 

 

These insights have led to our latest course launch, the Bachelor of Data Science. Designed for your students with an interest in statistics, data analysis, machine learning and software development, the course has an industry-focused curriculum with a focus in practical expertise.

 

Duration:  3 Years

Campus: Footscray Park

Entry Requirements: Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent, Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English. PLUS: A study score of at least 20 in Mathematics (any).

 

With market information and technology evolving at great speed, skilled professionals are needed to transform data into actionable insights for business. The Bachelor of Data Science is designed to meet this demand and give students the tools to analyse trends for business success, and launch a career perfectly aligned to industry needs.

Free TAFE course a pathway into the Bachelor of Business

 

VU Polytechnic’s Diploma of Accounting FN50217 provides students with the training and knowledge necessary for a range of accounting careers. Delivered by expert staff and aligned with the skills and jobs that are in demand from Victorian employers, the course covers:

  • accounting software
  • providing financial and business performance information
  • preparing income tax
  • managing budgets and forecasts.

Students with an interest in accounting, book keeping, payroll and finance have the unique opportunity to obtain a working qualification and guaranteed entry with up to 96 points (1 year full-time) of credit for the Bachelor of Business at VU. This pathway provides 2 qualifications and a lower cost to students while not adding any additional time to their Bachelor. 

 

The Free TAFE for Priority Courses program covers eligible students’ tuition fees for the full course duration. Students will still need to pay other fees, such as student services fees or materials fees. Find out more about the Diploma of Accounting FN50217 or the Bachelor of Business.

UCAT - Attn: Year 12 applicants intending to apply for medical, dental and clinical science degree programmes.

 

The UCAT ANZ was established to help universities achieve greater fairness in selection.  Around 14,000 candidates sit the test each year as part of their application to courses in medicine, dentistry and clinical sciences.

 

The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) is a computer-based admissions test, used by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand to help select applicants for their medical, dental and clinical science degree programmes.

 

The UCAT ANZ replaced the UMAT (Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test) in 2019.
