Book Week Dress-Up

Each year since 1945 the Children's Book Council of Australia has brought children and books together across Australia through CBCA Book Week.  This year, book week is from August 20-26.   We will be celebrating books and the joy of reading throughout the week.

Wednesday, August 24 will be a dress-up day for all students who wish to participate.  How to participate:

1. Read books.  More of them. Start now.  It's never too late to start reading more.
2. Choose a character from one of your favourite books.  Not a movie character.  We're celebrating books and reading remember?
3. Dress up as that character (on Wed August 24).
4. Be ready to tell us on the day what you like about that character.

We'll have a parade of students and other activities first thing on that Wednesday morning.  Parents and friends of the school are very welcome to join us.
