INSPIRING CURIOUS MINDS
The first weigh in of class bins has been completed! We have a starting point and will now work hard to reduce the amount of rubbish we are producing.
Some easy things you can do or encourage your child to do so that less rubbish comes to and stays at school include:
- Use reusable lunch containers
- Use sandwich beeswax wrappers
- Empty packet food into containers and take the packets to your local supermarket for recycling
- Use a drink bottle
- Include food such as fruit that can be added to the compost
- Make some homemade goodies to throw in the lunchbox that require no packaging, there is one below!
