Welcome to Term 3

It’s great to see children back after a winter break which I’m sure held many different experiences. Term 3 is always quite an experience in itself: Bookweek, Concert and Wakakirri to name a few events coming up. These events may have some modified formats for public health reasons, but we are embracing the opportunity to try some new ways of being together and sharing our learning. Please keep reading Inspire for information about our school events.

How am I Doing?

Some families will receive an email next week from St Paul requesting you to complete a Principal review questionnaire. I would really value your input to help me know what I am doing well, and understand how I can improve those things I’m not doing so well. Your feedback is important to me and to our Board, so please take the time to complete the review if you possibly can.

Student Absences

We know that there are lots of reasons why your child is away from school on any given day. If we haven’t heard from you in the morning, we send you a text message to remind you to contact us. Please follow up if you receive this text message by responding via return SMS, calling or emailing the school office. We need to ensure that you let us know when your child is away and why so that we can be sure they are okay, and for government compliance purposes. Thanks for your help.
