Senior Netball - into States finals

Congratulations to our Senior Netball team who competed at the Southern Metropolitan Regional round robin and won in a thrilling final. They will now be playing at the State event on Monday 5 September. Go team MGSC. Thank you to Mr Evans for accompanying the team.

The team consisted of Maya Buhl, Georgia Codd, Caitlin Hicks, Jemmah Paton, Grace Righetti, Hannah Ross, Emma Storey and Mia Sullivan.

Junior and Senior AFL - into States finals

What a sensational effort by both our Junior and Senior AFL teams who have both qualified to play in the State Quarter and Semi Finals. Both teams played hard, fair and determined on the field throughout the day on their respective days. A huge special mention to the staff coaches who have committed to their teams with numerous lunchtime training sessions and of course their coaching efforts so thank you to Miss Barton, Ms Bell, Miss Kennedy and Mr Sinclair. 

Both teams will now play in the State Quarter finals on Monday 8 August (Junior AFL) and Wednesday 10 August (Senior AFL). All the best to these teams!

Intermediate Round Robin

Sixty students across year 9 and 10 represented MGSC at the Intermediate divisional Round Robin on Monday 25 July. Teams competed in basketball, futsal, table tennis and ultimate Frisbee. Despite the wintery and wet conditions, all reports were positive with many good times to be had by all. 

Thank you to the staff coaches who supported these students – Miss Kennedy, Mr Sinclair, Miss Barton, and Ms Harvey.
