St Mary’s House of Welcome.
Staff and staff have been helping to serve breakfast to clients of St Mary’s House of Welcome in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy. They also assist with packing lunches to be distributed later in the morning.
Mercy Fundraising Term 3
In term three we celebrate being a Mercy school and work together to take action for Mercy organizations. This year, we continue to focus on McAuley Community Services for Women who work with women and their families who have experienced domestic violence and homelessness. We are also raising awareness of and funds for Mercy Works, Mercy Works is a not-for-profit charity organisation supporting long term development projects in Australia and the South-East Asia Pacific region, including Papua New Guinea, The Philippines and Timor-Leste. raising funds. Fundraising Activities
Justice Group ran a Hot Chocolate stall before school and will host a cake stall this week.
Academy Mentor groups will work to raise funds for McAuley Community Services for Women & Mercy Works as well as our neighbours, St Mary’s House of Welcome. Mentor Groups are invited to create fundraising activities. Families are invited to support this action in the coming weeks.
