From the Murdoch Institute:
“The Murdoch Children’s Research Institute is developing a new digital assessment to diagnose speech disorders and help guide treatment of these conditions. As part of the development, we are testing this new tool on children and adolescents to see how speech typically develops across the population.
In 2021 we invited students at North Melbourne Primary School to participate. During Term 3 last year speech pathologists from the research team visited the school and started conducting brief speech assessments with students taking part in the study. Unfortunately research in schools was then paused due to lockdowns and remote learning.
We are now able to recommence the study and look forward to working with NMPS again. Children who had been previously signed up to the study will receive a speech assessment at school during their usual hours of attendance in the coming weeks.
We also welcome any further families who may be interested to take part by signing up here: https://redcap.link/ADAAPTSTUDY”
