Mellor students are currently learning about the history of Lockleys North Primary School. We have developed our own questions about LNPS and what it used to look like.

Have the buildings always been called Fisher, Mellor, Rowell, Morphett and Torrens?
Did the children used to do PE, Science, German and healthy eating?
Have there always been whiteboards in the classrooms?
Has the oval always been that size?
Has there always been a gym at school?
What was there before the pool?
Was there always a library there? Has it looked the same? Was it always called Tirkandi?
When was OSHC made? Has it always been in Morphett? Who were the first OSHC Staff?
What did the uniforms first look like when the school was first opened?
Were there tables and chairs in the classrooms? Did the classrooms always look like this? Did the students sit at desks instead of on the floor when the teacher was talking?
Have the classrooms always been called M3, M4 etc?
Have there been any other buildings that have now been demolished?
Has the Science room always been in the same spot?
What year was each building built?
Who made the school?
Did the Mellor classes always have lockers and cupboards in the buildings?
Did you sing the National Anthem in the classrooms or only at assembly?

When was the outdoor learning space built?

Was there always a sandpit in the playground? Was the playground always there and did it look the same?

Have we always had loose parts?

When was the LNPS song created? Who invented it?
Has the school always had Reception, Year 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 students?
Have these trees always been here?
Has there always been a tree in the sandpit near M6?
