Cheltenham Community Garden - UPDATE | Increased security measures
The fence is complete, our community garden sign erected, fruit trees planted, planter boxes are in position and additional planter boxes, painted in our House colours, add a colourful exterior...the garden is getting there.
We look forward to the next stage of filling the planter boxes with soil and planting fruit, vegetable and herb seedlings, constructing a compost area, paving...the list goes on, but progress is being made...Rome wasn't built in a day, neither were vegie gardens!
Bring on Spring as we watch our fruit trees (peach, lemon, granny smith apple, lime, cherry and orange) blossom and mature.
The safety and security of our students, staff, buildings and grounds is paramount. This is why we have taken the following increased security measures around our college over the past Term:
School Council has approved the purchase of a new school fence. The fence will be 2.4 metres high and construction of this will commence soon (we will advise of definite dates) at the back of the college, with the remaining fence line to be completed in due course.
