Grade 3/4 News

In grade 3/4, we have been exploring fractions. Students have been working hard to determine what a fraction is and how to represent them in multiple ways. Students have created fraction walls, located and placed fractions on a number line, and investigated equivalent fractions.

Students have also been working hard on their novels. Students have been working hard on creating the main character, supporting characters and a villain for their narratives. Students will begin planning their stories this week. 

Lego Club

On Tuesdays we are now running a Lego club at lunchtimes. All students are welcome! We have enjoyed working together, sharing resources, and using our manners to ask to join in with others. Students in the 3/4 classes have been amazing role models to our younger students; taking the juniors under their wings and helping them navigate tricky social situations such as asking for help or showing how to include others. Look at some of our amazing creations!
