Student Council Update
Cody Stanfield and Chantelle Pries
What a long and exciting week it has been, with the Year 12 students finally finishing their Externally Set Tasks (EST) and getting back their results. Well done to all. Not long to go now!
Recently some of the Year 12 students helped out with the Artificial Insemination (AI) in the Pork Production program - just one of the great programs Cunderdin Ag offers. Many of us were excited about Cheryl the cow having her first calf this week as we have been waiting for the calf to drop. We are also excited about the upcoming short course’s starting on Friday the 27th of May. Some of these courses include white card, skid steer loader and low-stress stock handling.
Seeding is well underway with many of the Year 12's currently rostered on to assist with getting the crop in. Cody got some extra time on the tractor because he jack knifed the bar which needed 3 fences to be taken down to get it back out (a couple of hours later)!
The Cunderdin Ag hockey team received a donation of goalie hockey gear from Bronwyn Johnston. We would like to thank her for the amazing gesture - we are sure to put it to use out on the hockey field!
