Returning to onsite learning - Week 9

We are excited to have you all back on-site soon - beginning Tuesday, 9 June. I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate you on your commitment to remote learning over the last eight weeks.

 

Below are a few things you need to know before you return to school next week.

  • If you are unwell please do not come to school. Make contact with the Middle Sub School Office and return when you are feeling better.
  • Breakfast club is running in the mornings in the B corridor. You will not be able to sit around in the dining space, you will need to take some breakfast and move outside.
  • There is hand sanitiser available in every classroom to use.
  • Students are permitted to wear face masks if they would like to, some staff may also be wearing face masks when you return.
  • Locker bay has been updated and the position of your locker may have been moved. Come and check with the Middle Sub School office if you are unsure.
  • Homeroom will run as normal, please make sure you are on time and prepared for your classes on Tuesday.
  • End of semester tasks will be occurring during the week you return on-site.
  • Semester Two begins in Week 10. You will be given your new timetable during Week 9 at some point, change of subject process will be communicated via YLCs

If you are anxious about returning to school next week, please contact  your Year Level Coordinator so we can offer support in returning to school.

Middle Sub School Leader - Semester Two

As most of you are aware, Mrs Durran is taking leave during Semester Two. Mr Hill will be your Sub School Leader for the second half of the year. If you have any issues that need to be addressed, please contact Mr Hill who will be more than happy to assist. Mr Hill has a wealth of knowledge and has worked closely with the Year 9 and 10 cohorts through his leadership in student engagement, the SRC and teaching a number of middle years HAPE subjects.

 

Please assist Mr Hill in a smooth transition into his new role.
