Everyone is Back!

There were some very happy people heading to the various entries and exits today including students and teachers! Many of us were nervous but excited. This is such a strange time for all of us. 

This week we are allowing the Senior School to enjoy the Web playground. During play time breaks Junior students may access the Junior side playground and the courtyard while Senior students have access to the web, basketball court, oval and Senior playground. This minimises the mixing of year levels. 

Reminders: 

Early arrivals: Supervison of students is only available form 8.45am. Students who arrive before this time should attend OSH club. Students are not permitted to play on playgrounds before school. Junior students meet their teacher before school and Senior students proceed to their class.

Late arrivals: Students arriving after 9.00 am need to enter through the reception foyer and sign in on the Sentral kiosk.

Early leavers: Parents must phone reception to organise for a student to leave early prior to coming up to the school.

Enhanced Cleaning!

We continue to have a cleaner onsite during the day as well as our regular cleaners after school. All have been allocated additional hours. All frequently used contact touch points - including handles, doors, tables and playground grab bars are cleaned across the day, with a deep clean at the end of each day. Staff also have classroom cleaning materials and of course we continue with the strict hand hygiene routines for adults and children.

Filming

We have engaged Visual Domain to shoot three film clips on Thursday. They will spend the whole day at school and film a Kinder, School and Principal Message clips. This has been necessary to support the 2021 enrolment of Kinder and Prep students. We cannot conduct our normal tours and believe this will be a way for families to understand more about what we offer at MPRPS&K. The film clips will be available on our website.

1. Students who do no have consent to be filmed from the beginning of the year consent forms will not be included.
2. An opt out consent form will come home today and needs to be returned before tomorrow if you do not want your child filmed in crowd shots - classroom and playground. There will be no audio or names used.
3. Students that feature in the films will be issued with an additional consent form.
