Principal's Report

WELCOME BACK

Last week, it was wonderful to see students and staff return to classrooms. Lots of smiles and friendly faces. During most of Term 2, our school has been merely a collection of buildings.  A school becomes a place of learning when students interact with each other and teachers.  We are all looking forward to next Tuesday the 9th June,  the remainder of our students return.

THANK YOU

I am so proud of our staff for their work during remote learning. They embraced the challenge of teaching remotely and stepped up to support our students.

Thank you to our parents (and older students who acted as carers for younger siblings) thank you and well done for your role in supporting young people in their learning.

I am equally proud of our students who took control of their learning. Self-discipline,   determination and resilience are just a few of the qualities displayed by students. These characteristics will enable students to meet the future challenges.

VIRTUAL CAREERS EXPO

The challenges of COVID-19 have meant that we have been planning a Virtual Careers and Pathways Expo and our Course Counselling for 2021, will be delivered differently.

SUBJECT HANDBOOK 2021

Our Curriculum Leaders have been very busy preparing our 2021 Subject Handbook. The incredible learning opportunities available to our students is just amazing. I am so proud of this work and look forward to seeing the release of the Subject Handbook next week. Students, Parents and Carers will be able to view this document online, on our school website.
